All MNPS staff cleared to get COVID-19 vaccination

Follow these steps to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment with Vanderbilt Health:

If you have a My Health at Vanderbilt (MHAV) portal account, because you've seen a Vanderbilt provider at an MNPS Health Clinic or other Vanderbilt facility:

If you have been seen by a Vanderbilt provider (at Vanderbilt or an MNPS Clinic), but do not have an account:

If you have never been seen at VUMC or the MNPS Health Care Centers:

  • Call 1-888-312-0847 and press 1 to establish a record so you can create an MHAV account. The hotline is open 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Identify yourself as an MNPS employee and have your insurance information handy when you call.

  • Once you have established a record, Vanderbilt will send you an email invite to setup an account.

  • Please note that this WILL NOT delay your ability to schedule a vaccine appointment along with your fellow colleagues.

Once your account is set up:

  • Vanderbilt will email you when it’s time for you to schedule your first vaccine appointment. Watch for an email with the subject line: “You have a new message in My Health at Vanderbilt."

  • Follow the prompts in that email to log into your MHAV account where you will see a blue button in your To Do List.

  • Click the blue button to schedule your date and time for a vaccination.

  • Vanderbilt is only distributing the Pfizer vaccine at this time. The Pfizer vaccine is given in two doses 21 days apart. You will confirm the date of your second dose at your first vaccination appointment. It’s important to show up for both appointments.

If you experience any trouble, call the MNPS Health Care Center at 615-259-8755 for additional assistance. Calls are answered Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Or email benefits@mnps.org with your name and contact information to further assist.
