Meet our onsite Health Coach
RN, Certified Holistic Health Coach, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Certified Cancer Support Educator
“My passion is helping people get healthy with a holistic approach. I love teaching people how the body works and what they can do to heal it naturally.”
"It's time to do something!" Have you said these words to yourself (or someone else) recently? There's never been a better time to examine your health and well-being ... and take steps to make it better.
Whether you’re just getting started or have been on the journey toward better health for a while, sometimes you need a little help getting to the next level. As an MNPS employee, you have an array of resources available to you. Below are the basics on each one.
Personal Health Coaching
When you're ready to tackle your biggest health challenges, having a real, live person supporting you can make a big difference in achieving your goals. A health coach is someone who will help you create a workable plan. Someone who will walk with you through that plan, encourage you through tough times, celebrate your successes and give you space when you need it. Most importantly, a health coach is NOT someone who will judge you or be disappointed if you slip up, but rather take your hand and help you get back on track.
Bobbi Nickel, our onsite health coach, works through the MNPS Employee & Family Health Care Centers to provide confidential, personalized health coaching when you want to:
- Lose weight
- Improve your eating habits
- Manage a chronic health condition (like diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, respiratory disease, or obesity)
- Make overall health improvements
Health coaching services are provided at no cost to those covered by an MNPS Cigna plan. To make a health coaching appointment, call 615-259-8755.
