FITNESS ASSOCIATES

Need some help reaching your fitness or wellness goals?

Look no further than our fitness associates at the MNPS Employee Wellness Center. Whether you want to gain muscle, lose weight or just get more active, they can help create a personalized plan for you.

Fitness associates:

  • Provide fitness center orientations, including teaching you how to safely operate the strength and cardio equipment

  • Provide fitness consultations and one-on-one coaching

  • Teach our group exercise classes, both in-person and online

  • Work with physical therapy and chiropractic patients to track their progress and provide follow-up fitness consultations

  • Answer general health- and fitness-related questions

  • Ensure fitness center equipment is clean, properly functioning and used correctly

How to get started

Simply stop by the fitness desk. We may ask you to fill out a brief fitness assessment, which helps us understand your current fitness level and history, such as whether you’ve had past injuries. We’ll use your answers to match you with a fitness associate and customize an exercise plan for you. Then we’ll work with you one-on-one to help you achieve your goals.

Fitness associates and classes are available to all MNPS employees, retirees and spouses at no charge.
