Fitness classes are available to all MNPS employees, retirees and spouses at no charge.

Classes are limited to 15 participants.

For yoga classes, mats are available for use, but feel free to bring your own.


Class descriptions

Bumpin' Boot Camp

A high-intensity cardio and strength workout that incorporates body weight and free weights; appropriate for all fitness levels.


Healthy for Life

A low-impact, low-intensity workout perfect for older adults. Each class includes aerobic conditioning, strengthening and stretching. 



This Latin-inspired dance class is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, fitness party that will move you toward improved health and happiness.


Body Sculpt / TRX

A circuit-training-style class using free weights and TRX suspension trainers that can be adapted to all fitness levels.



A full-body interval training class for all fitness levels using free weights. This class will increase heart rate, increase your overall strength, and sculpt your body in just a 45-minute period.



This class is appropriate for all fitness levels and is designed to improve physical strength, flexibility and posture.


Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar yoga is characterized by a focus on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana), controlled breathing (pranayama) and the development of strength, mobility and stability.



A mix of align and flow yoga, this class is open to all levels of practice and abilities, and is a great choice for beginners.



A full-body jam session. Using Ripstix (lightly weighted drumsticks), POUND transforms drumming into an effective way of exercising. It fuses cardio interval training, strength and Pilates-inspired movements with drumming to provide a challenging, heart-pumping workout.
